In a brief interview with Schieffer, John McCain answers questions largely related to whether he's a true conservative. He counters, as usual, by noting the support he's receiving from "supply-siders" like Jack Kemp and Phil Gramm -- and he then points out his ability to "reach across the aisle" and get members of the two parties "to work together." While interesting in light of the recent criticism of the GOP front-runner from more conservative quarters, the interview is too brief for any real fireworks or soundbites.
