Clean Water Action is NOW HIRING entry and management level community organizers. We offer opportunities to build your resume, learn grassroots organizing, and gain election experience! Learn the art of canvassing and fundraising to win campaigns. We win over 80% of the campaigns we start.

 

Join our national family of passionate, dedicated political organizers and affect change on a wide scale! Our paid training program offers the opportunity to learn how to organize people by political district to win key issue and election campaigns, and make democracy work. Our leadership staff provides expert individual training on grassroots communications and winning elections.

 

Build Grassroots Power

Work with Clean Water Action and learn to organize from one of the longest running, most powerful citizens’ groups in the country.  We have empowered citizens by building a national base of 1.2 million members. We will continue to create progress and build strength in numbers by training new staff to communicate with the public.

Put Eco-Friendly Candidates into Office

Every day, Clean Water Action educates people about how their politicians perform on environmental issues.  Work with our field teams around the nation and make your voice heard on elections, and the issues that matter so much to voters in 2008.

 

Recent Issue Campaigns:

• We banned Arsenic treated wood in playgrounds
• We stopped Sewage pollution/dumping into our drinking water
  
• We passed regulations against mercury, power plant and incinerator pollution
• We advocate safe, renewable energy alternatives
• We gained wetlands, watershed and drinking water source protection
  
• We won increased environmental funding and enforcement
